Because their feet are still set and as long as they're fully set when the ball is snapped they're OK.

If you remove the dumbass penalties, the D has done nothing but get stops tonight and Tampa would only have 3. Some of that is definitely on Tampa's own offensive miscues but I'm impressed.

I don't expect Bolden to get cut, but it wouldn't shock me tbh. He's a ST specialist who keeps committing dumb penalties. That's the #1 thing you can't do if you want to keep that job.
