This is where we gather to follow things on Game Day. Obviously, emotions tend to be high so if anyone gets a little crazy, the use of the “Mute” button is encouraged on anyone who may be annoying to you to control your experience and to allow the moderators to also enjoy the game.
At the same time, please take a deep breath before over-reacting for the sake of making this a pleasant experience for everyone.
Lastly, we have never allowed promoting the use of any illegal streaming. This is illegal and will be enforced by copyright holders, which puts this site at risk. DO NOT POST ANY LINKS to those platforms.
This also means, there absolutely cannot be any mention these platforms, spaces, special characters, etc. - so do not get creative in trying to work around this request.
If you do you will have your account suspended.
I do not have the means to deal with legal issues and have already been contacted previously, so this absolutely needs to be adhered to. If you see any illegal links, please report them so a mod can remove them.
That Edelman drop was Welker-esque. Obviously not nearly as big, but Jesus was that play a complete back breaker. You need to catch that. Plain and simple.
It was a hell of a run, it was a heck of a run, but for the 1st time in decades one can say this and not even know what it means. I would like to congratulate the Pats and fans like us on an unprecedented run. Not that we're doomed or anything, but if we are finally at the point of mediocrity, it's OK. We were the best team in the NFL for the longest time in history. This day had to come. So hats of, and congrats for being the most spoiled NFL fans in history. I loved being spoiled, and look forward to the day I get spoiled again. It will never happen again though, because what the Pats accomplished will never be done again. But I'm so OK with that.
From the moment that Adam Vinatieri split the uprights in SB 36 the team went from being an NFL laughing stock to a champion in seconds
Almost instantly the team became the darlings of the NFL and picked up a fan base that zoomed to top 5 in the country only trailing the Cowboys,Steelers,Packers and Raiders within a few years - before that kick it was bottom 5 for sure
With 2 glorious decades of success the fan base grew and grew and never had to deal with a string of bad seasons or even a string of consecutive losses
I became a fan in 1977 (ironically the year Tom Brady was born) and went through some of the worst seasons the Patriots had ever endured especially the early 90s - In Pennsylvania (my home state) back in the old days I was constantly ridiculed for wearing Patriots hats and attire but I went about my love for the team back then, now and will wear it forever
The thing is I would bet anything that when the inevitable downward turn towards mediocrity that this team will face in the near future just has it has happened to the Steelers,49ers and Cowboys teams of the decades, what portion of this current fan base will still be here cheering on our mediocre team when it happens and how many will turn their backs and move on to the next 'team on the rise'?
I know for certain I will be here,Faithful and Proud win or lose .......will you?
Dumbest title to a thread I’ve ever seen. The people who are upset, are probably bigger fans than you. Just because people are voicing out their unhappiness about the loss, doesn’t make them bandwagon fans.
I’ve been a fan since 1975, but I don’t look at things through Rose-colored glasses. There were some bad moves made that caused this dynasty to end, and I don’t think it’s wrong to state so.
I was born in the 90s so all my football memories have been memorable thanks to the Patriots. Win or lose I will always stand by this team. After all we are all posting in a football forum other than the trolls I think it's safe to say everyone here is a diehard fan
I’m just glad I got a full hour to vent about a very disappointing end to the season (and possibly dynasty) before facing judgment before the True Believers.
Nope there are alot of fraud pats fans, upset? Deal with it they lost the ****ing game.
All the die harda crying like ****ies over a loss, ************. ****s funny as ****.
It’s been easy telling real fans from bandwagon fans. Follow the GDT. Note every Chicken Little who starts declaring the coach/gm/team a total turd as soon as there is a momentary reversal of fortunes, but totally vanish as soon as things are going well. The ones with no true enjoyment of team success and lots of crying over every bump in the road aren’t really fans. May not even be bandwagon fans, just trolls, but the bandwagon fans are part of their cohort.

I've personally seen bandwagons fans even in this area - it has nothing to do with this loss nor anyone in here in particular so your stupidity to not understand my point is obvious - learn to read and understand ...I am talking about when the team STARTS the decline to mediocrity -read before posting a response - They haven't started a decline yet and may not for years, but it will happen eventually thus the post regarding the future in reverse - who's the dumb one now?

LadyPatsfan, just to point to one long time poster who has volatile reactions in the GDTs, has been around here since 2004. The notion that she's not a real fan is absurd. Then again, this thread's absurd.
