Butler beaten twice by kerley is really the only issue the defense has had.

I agree. It was that one run by McCown where whoever it was didnt set the edge well enough and those two passes. Also, having Roberts in coverage on a TE in the endzone was just a recipe for failure.

The pass over Jonathan Jones was just a good play and I wont call the defense out for it. But apart from that they have been pretty good.. very much like in the first three quarters against TB.

Just like the team evolves over a season the game plan evolves throughout a game.
There have been many really good defensive games where the d dorsnt look so good early (although it's usually one drive today it was 2) and then plays very well.
You can't overlook how BB uses the early part of the game to set up the later part of the game on both sides of the ball.

Our run D has been great....our pass D is still a work in progress and makes me very nervous....if the Jet's keep running the ball, I'll be ok with that.

There have been 19 offensive snaps for the Patriots since Mike Gillislee's lost fumble. Gillislee hasn't been on the field for any of them.

He seems to be getting Ridley'd.

Wow, that stinks. I know many on here can't wait to jump on the dude, but he's a damn good QB and fun to watch. I want as much entertainment available on a weekly basis as possible. Hopefully he'll heal quick.

I think that's what's Rodgers had back in 2013.

I will write off the first quarter to rust from the long layoff and the Jets really being up to making this a statement game. Looks like the tide has changed and the Pats are playing much, much better on both sides on the ball.

I guess he should have clutched the ball tighter then. I have seen considerably worse fumbles than that but I suppose BB is sending a general message.
