It is actually quite irritating to see anyone critical of a clearly crap playing team being attacked so quickly on this forum. Even if they turn it around and win this game, they are playing like **** right now and they cannot get far with this kind of effort.
And I take issue with the heavy formation on 3rd and short. You're telegraphing your play call and allowing the defense to stack the box.
If you want to run it, fine, but split a receiver or two out and force the defense to spread a bit.
Second week in a row this team looks entirely unprepared mentally and tactically. Belichick is currently failing this team. Let's see if he can improve.
So far this season, all I think of is 2009 all over again. Then again, 2009 at least had a few offensive weapons. This team has zero outside of Gronk right now...
