Game Day Thread Official Game Day Thread- Week 17 Pats @ Dolphins

THIS IS OUR LIVE GAME DAY THREAD:

This is where we gather to follow things on Game Day. Obviously, emotions tend to be high so if anyone gets a little crazy, the use of the “Mute” button is encouraged on anyone who may be annoying to you to control your experience and to allow the moderators to also enjoy the game.

At the same time, please take a deep breath before over-reacting for the sake of making this a pleasant experience for everyone.

Lastly, we have never allowed promoting the use of any illegal streaming. This is illegal and will be enforced by copyright holders, which puts this site at risk. DO NOT POST ANY LINKS to those platforms.

This also means, there absolutely cannot be any mention these platforms, spaces, special characters, etc. - so do not get creative in trying to work around this request.

If you do you will have your account suspended.

I do not have the means to deal with legal issues and have already been contacted previously, so this absolutely needs to be adhered to. If you see any illegal links, please report them so a mod can remove them.

2-Minute Warning.

Patriots rushing leaders:
Blount: 8/45yds
Lewis: 9/43yds
Brady: 1/6yds
Edelman: 1/6yds

Not yet, IMO - the Dolphins have a habit of coming back after being down big in the first half, have done it a bunch of times in the last 10 games. If either of the last 2 FGs had been TDs, then maybe IMO.

Except I don't think we're folding. We are clicking on all cylinders, and not letting up.

Mark Sanchez replaced Romo and threw an interception on his fourth pass attempt.
I quickly turned and saw that play. I thought it was Romo but knew something was up then the QB was not taken out on a stretcher after tackling the player who intercepted the ball

I agree, but with the #1 seed probably at stake I think it's best not to chance it.

There was a thread last week about the Fins and if we underestimate them or w/e.

Look every game is its own unique battle. **** happens.

But gimmie the Fins all day long. If you can't beat them you're not a real contender, obviously.

They beat some bad teams. Ran the ball and play with some actual effort for the first time in 2 years.

Nice stop by Roberts

Nice play by Roberts, broke the line and brought Ajayi down for no gain. Clock running, just over 1-minute left.

Roberts really is a beast in the run game. Maybe not a three-down guy, but great in his role.

Nope, that's Landry Jones in action. Pretty funny that the Browns are playing themselves out of the #1 pick though.
Shows character. Un-Coltish

If the Dolphins get a touchdown we're going to be forced to keep the starters in to at least the 4th quarter.

these announcers my god

id spot the phins 7 points if i could have them changed at halftim

I wouldn't play Jimmy G at all this game. If you need to pull Brady, put in Jacoby.

The reason is, you don't want teams to get any more looks at Jim than what they saw in the first 4 games; if teams overpaid for Brock, they ABSOLUTELY will trade the farm for Jim. His stock can only drop at this point.

Of course, this is only if we're really looking to get rid of JG

Need to hold em to 3 or force a turnover. I want the starters out of this game.

Dolphins call time out w/1:01 left. They're at the Patriots 24-yard line with a 2nd-and-4 coming up.

Need a stop here to keep them from believing they can come back.
