Game Day Thread Official Game Day Thread- Week 17 Pats @ Dolphins

THIS IS OUR LIVE GAME DAY THREAD:

This is where we gather to follow things on Game Day. Obviously, emotions tend to be high so if anyone gets a little crazy, the use of the “Mute” button is encouraged on anyone who may be annoying to you to control your experience and to allow the moderators to also enjoy the game.

At the same time, please take a deep breath before over-reacting for the sake of making this a pleasant experience for everyone.

Lastly, we have never allowed promoting the use of any illegal streaming. This is illegal and will be enforced by copyright holders, which puts this site at risk. DO NOT POST ANY LINKS to those platforms.

This also means, there absolutely cannot be any mention these platforms, spaces, special characters, etc. - so do not get creative in trying to work around this request.

If you do you will have your account suspended.

I do not have the means to deal with legal issues and have already been contacted previously, so this absolutely needs to be adhered to. If you see any illegal links, please report them so a mod can remove them.

Lewis loses a yard after the turf gives way when he went to plant. Just thankful there was no injury on a play like that...unreal.
It amazes me the players ***** more about Thursday night football than the field conditions (both are a problem but field conditions are a much bigger issue). Strict rules on field conditions is a win for everyone but the lazy teams that can't fix their fields.

Even though the pass was incomplete, but damn Marcus Cannon. What great protection he offered there.

It looked questionable until you watch McCain's right arm and realize he had Hogan turned all the way around long before the ball got there.
Looked like it was simultaneous with his hand on the ball. But I never expect the Pats to get the benefit of such calls.

UGH.. Eagle just butchered Joe Cardona's name.. SMH...

Patriots dominating the time of possession battle:

This half seems to have gone really fast

I would play Brady through the 3rd....Jimmy G. in the 4th if the lead is still decent. Going through Foxboro increases our chances significantly...

Safe to play Jimmy yet? 20-0 and the Pats have already broken them.

IMO, Brady will play til halftime and we will see Jimmy in the second half.

I suspect Brady will play half way through the 3rd if things continue to go the way they are.

That sideline catch to Floyd is what was missing to a degree from this offense - the big tall fast guy who you can throw it up high to and he can high point it where the defender can't. Mitchell is somewhat that guy but not fully there yet.

Floyd executed perfectly.

Yup, great catch & toe touch.

Mitchell is also pretty great at sideline catches from what I've seen. We'll see more of it sooner or later.

I suspect Brady will play half way through the 3rd if things continue to go the way they are.
Didn't realize there were only 3 min left! You may be right.

NE 17 first downs to Miami 1.....less than 4 mins left in 1st quarter !!!! Now that is dominance

Steelers down 14 zip to the browns.
To suck all season and not get the top pick would be a tragedy. They may want to invent some injuries soon.
