A lot of it is just bad luck, rather than "They should have known better."

I'll grant that they did have a couple of egregious misses—Easley had a significant injury history, and BB still owes us an explanation for Jordan Richards—but a lot of it is just players not working out. Cyrus Jones at the end of the second wasn't a bad pick at the time; how could they foresee he'd have his confidence shot and then end up on IR?

He can cave if he wants to. There's always next week for him to make his offense look strong against scrubs like Buffalo and NY. He is the least of the O's problems.
