It actually was great playcalling. This is all setup from not going deep-ish at all so far. But I am not surprised you still don't understand the nuances of playcalling.
I agree given how good the Vikings have been on third down our offense was not bad at all at that today. The penalties, some drops and the missed FG made this game tighter than necessary so far.
