THIS IS OUR LIVE GAME DAY THREAD:

This is where we gather to follow things on Game Day. Obviously, emotions tend to be high so if anyone gets a little crazy, the use of the “Mute” button is encouraged on anyone who may be annoying to you to control your experience and to allow the moderators to also enjoy the game.

At the same time, please take a deep breath before over-reacting for the sake of making this a pleasant experience for everyone.

Lastly, we have never allowed promoting the use of any illegal streaming. This is illegal and will be enforced by copyright holders, which puts this site at risk. DO NOT POST ANY LINKS to those platforms.

This also means, there absolutely cannot be any mention these platforms, spaces, special characters, etc. - so do not get creative in trying to work around this request.

If you do you will have your account suspended.

I do not have the means to deal with legal issues and have already been contacted previously, so this absolutely needs to be adhered to. If you see any illegal links, please report them so a mod can remove them.

Does this dude own pro football focus?

Butler didn't touch him, he was shoved because he was in the way. Fail by the NFL.
That's what I don't get, I don't see how it's pass interference to simply just exist where the ball is being thrown to. Isn't that the point of playing defensive back?

Richards is horrible lol

Butler continuing his pre season play

You can blame the refs all you want, but the defense did not look all that good in spite of that...

Alex Smith 16/19 128 yards 2TDs

Just letting him throw short stuff all the way down the field

Damn it, i think back to the begining of this drive when it was 3rd and long and we rushed three and drop the rest and smith comleted an easy completion underneath to get the first down. I didn't undestand that defensive call. Once kc made that they rolled.

The Butler penalty changed the potential outcome of this game. Very real possibility the Pats lose now. Chiefs have 2 shots to either take the lead or tie.

Frustrating, you know this could be a 24-7 game right now.

A half of horrendous officiating to artificially keep the game close to keep the ratings up for the 2nd half.
along with a rather uninspired defensive effort. Matty P not showing his hand?

First and last drive were pretty poor, the rest between was pretty good for the defense.

Second half will be interesting. Both coaches are really good at changing and adapting in the second half. Feels like it shouldn't be this close

That was definitely a penalty on Malcolm, but not the way the game had been called up to that point. My biggest gripe with the NFL/football as a sport is how subjective it is from an officiating standpoint and how much of an impact it has on (seemingly) so many games. Nothing is perfect I guess

Well let's hope for a better seocond half. Alex Smith having better numbers at the half than tom's ridiculous. The defense has to be aggressive and win their battles

Rodney has lost his mind saying he'd prefer Kelce over Gronk in literally any context.
No he didn't he said split wide but Gronk is a better TE.
