This is unbelievably sad.

You say that, but that‘s happened before. The 2003 Patriots looked even worse against an even worse Texans team, and never were behind again in a game that season until the 4th quarter of a SB. NFL players take anything for inspiration. Brady himself said the game that he realized he could be a good NFL starter was the thrashing against Miami in week 4 of 2001.
