Mac's not going through his reads well at all. Makes some sense when he's under pressure but he's not under that much pressure today. It's almost like he's been under so much pressure that he just defaults to being "under pressure" mentally even when he's not and goes fast when there's no need to go fast. Hopefully this improves with time.
So….why does every other NFL team, when they have a 3rd and 10plus….run a pass play that Atleast covers the yardage needed…..and the Pats….run a draw or screen? Why?
Looked like the Pats were trying to run a similar play to the one the 49ers scored a long td to kittle on, fake screen left fake screen right throw to the right end. Mac missed Agholor open for td and instead threw the ball to Rham 6 yards behind the line of scrimmage with no blockers and and two defenders closing in, actually a well designed play that got the safeties to bite.
Yeah, id say so to if we had a decent o-line a real offensive coordinator, better wide outs, and maybe some TEs that could play. ..Thats all, carry on.
