This is where we gather to follow things on Game Day. Obviously, emotions tend to be high so if anyone gets a little crazy, the use of the “Mute” button is encouraged on anyone who may be annoying to you to control your experience and to allow the moderators to also enjoy the game.
At the same time, please take a deep breath before over-reacting for the sake of making this a pleasant experience for everyone.
Lastly, we have never allowed promoting the use of any illegal streaming. This is illegal and will be enforced by copyright holders, which puts this site at risk. DO NOT POST ANY LINKS to those platforms.
This also means, there absolutely cannot be any mention these platforms, spaces, special characters, etc. - so do not get creative in trying to work around this request.
If you do you will have your account suspended.
I do not have the means to deal with legal issues and have already been contacted previously, so this absolutely needs to be adhered to. If you see any illegal links, please report them so a mod can remove them.
I think in a few weeks assuming Jones keeps playing like this, they will take off the training wheels and let him be more aggressive. More likely than not, they will have to against the Bucs.
I think it is smart, Mac is still a rookie (one that hasn't won his first NFL game) even if he mostly isn't acting like it.
Let's take the win with no mistakes (and STILL no INT's by Mac), build up his confidence, and we can open the playbook later if we fall well behind against some team like Tampa Bay (earlier today I would have said "or New Orleans" after they clobbered Green Bay last week, but maybe not given their performance today so far against Carolina).
Because he is a rookie in his second game. It has nothing to do with the opponent. And early in the game the Jets were dominating the line of scrimmage. You don’t want your QB to hold onto the ball longer when the o-line is letting the defense through the line untouched.
I've been saying the same since we got them. Literally first page or two in my thread. Pass out of 12p with these two wide/detached. There's things to go after Josh about but too often you hear non sense instead of what's actually the problem.
Game one last week but we had Miami in base too often not force a LB on a WR/TE with 12p. It's one of the biggest advantages you have.
Frustrated with the incredibly conservative play on offense, but it is the right strategy for this game. Hopefully, while safely getting the win here, we are also leaving some tricks up the sleeve for the next few weeks. We'll need it.
