This is where we gather to follow things on Game Day. Obviously, emotions tend to be high so if anyone gets a little crazy, the use of the “Mute” button is encouraged on anyone who may be annoying to you to control your experience and to allow the moderators to also enjoy the game.
At the same time, please take a deep breath before over-reacting for the sake of making this a pleasant experience for everyone.
Lastly, we have never allowed promoting the use of any illegal streaming. This is illegal and will be enforced by copyright holders, which puts this site at risk. DO NOT POST ANY LINKS to those platforms.
This also means, there absolutely cannot be any mention these platforms, spaces, special characters, etc. - so do not get creative in trying to work around this request.
If you do you will have your account suspended.
I do not have the means to deal with legal issues and have already been contacted previously, so this absolutely needs to be adhered to. If you see any illegal links, please report them so a mod can remove them.
I agree. And to @GreenCow's point, I think Zappe is taking some of the stuff that Mac was overlooking in favor of home runs that he rarely hit. Wonder if it's a bit of a sobering experience...
When your college experience is throwing to multiple future RD1 WRs at 'Bama, is it a surprise that he would "overvalue" the long ball that likely looked something close to Henry's last wide open td scamper than a contested play?
It's an unusual situation, and history would suggest Mac has a setback this week and Zappe gets the nod (BB + Drew/Tom history).
Until BB shows us his decision, we can all jump down each other's throats over who is right and who should go route for the Jete. Glorious.
I am loving what Zappe is doing as I'm sure everyone here is. I credit Zappe's pocket movement and quick release for part of the seemingly improved OL play. But, I do agree that things appear to have been cleaned up overall the last few games, so if Mac gets the start when healthy, I'll be excited to see what he does too.
Not the ***Hat part - the fact Jones wasn't getting the same protection. My eyes overlooked the first sentence and I only read the last part because I'm watching the game, scoring the plays and multitasking. So yes @DaBruinz - ease up on the insults, please.
There's a world of difference between Mac and Zappe. Not even close.
People are forgetting that this is Mac's first year in a new offense, without McD, and with an entirely new terminology and verbiage. Of course there's going to be growing pains.
Isn't this also Zappe's first year in a new offense without McD and with entirely new terminology and verbiage? PLUS, coming from FCS rather than Alabama?
I think the big thing that Zappe does better than Mac is maintain good technique in the pocket. Mac will square his hips to the line quite easily whereas Zappe remains bladed and steps into his throws whilst sliding.
Mac's mechanics last year were fine. Personally I don't think he was healthy before the ankle injury. Mac is a good QB. That, extended preseason and a new offense were the reasons why he didn't start well.
Zappe is playing well and the team is jelling. Just gotta see where this goes
Jets (3-2) are WINNING
Dolphins (3-2) are LOSING
Colts (2-2-1) are LOSING
Jaguars (2-3) are WINNING
Bengals (2-3) are LOSING
Ravens (3-2) are WINNING[\quote]
