THIS IS OUR LIVE GAME DAY THREAD:

This is where we gather to follow things on Game Day. Obviously, emotions tend to be high so if anyone gets a little crazy, the use of the “Mute” button is encouraged on anyone who may be annoying to you to control your experience and to allow the moderators to also enjoy the game.

At the same time, please take a deep breath before over-reacting for the sake of making this a pleasant experience for everyone.

Lastly, we have never allowed promoting the use of any illegal streaming. This is illegal and will be enforced by copyright holders, which puts this site at risk. DO NOT POST ANY LINKS to those platforms.

This also means, there absolutely cannot be any mention these platforms, spaces, special characters, etc. - so do not get creative in trying to work around this request.

If you do you will have your account suspended.

I do not have the means to deal with legal issues and have already been contacted previously, so this absolutely needs to be adhered to. If you see any illegal links, please report them so a mod can remove them.

It's important to understand the situation here....a FG make it a 3 score game...can't risk a turnover here.....I'm ok with coming away with 3 on this drive.
What’s your goal for this team? To be average? Slightly average? If this team can’t score touchdowns in redzone we have zero shot at winning a playoff game.

Soft conservative trash play calling in red zone. Most improve team

Zappe is showing excellent poise, pocket awareness, and pocket mobility.

Time to let him at least attempt TD plays in the red zone.

Someday, you gotta attempt a throw in the Redzone. Why not now. This offense MUST evolve.

Love how Zap buys time by scrambling, he also makes quick decisions doesn't hesitate,(he who hesitates is lost,er sacked) very calm under pressure. He looks like a keepah

Zappe is there to ‘not make mistakes’ and that seems to be good for this game.

Eventually, he’ll need to get some TDs. Other teams will take advantage.
My feeling is that this is Zappe's only game, Mac will return next week so he is playing very efficient by design.

Trent Brown is doing a great job on Hutchinson. I was wondering when Detriot was going to move him, he was over Wynn on that last third down. Hopefully they dont make a habit of that

19-0 with some random hillbilly 3rd string bum at QB.

This team looks as unstoppable as I predicted they'd be prior to the season. I honestly don't see them losing again this season with MJ coming back next week.

3 possession game. Kinda nervous considering how explosive Detroit is. But also we have not punted yet so hopefully enough ball control should keep things from blowing open.

On to Cleveland. Go ahead and start the postgame thread.

The hate Patricia crowd doesn't evaluate strategic field position football.

No need to have urgency IMO. A field goal makes it a 3 score game. Detroit is still sitting on a goose egg and the defense has shown they can handle it so far.
I’m not worried about losing the game. Campbell soup will do that on his own. I don’t like that we’re not trying to improve in red zone. Take some shots let your playmakers make plays!

Can't speak for Ashley but my current goal is to not be 1-4 and way outside the playoff contention window. Get a win even if it isn't pretty, get Mac back and then start worrying about explosive plays.

People on here seem impatient. The score is 19-0 with a guy from W Kentucky picked up in the fourth round of the 2022 draft.

Yes, evolution is key : but I am not sure it has to be right now. A win would go a long way in building confidence.

This offense is so vanilla, I understand playing conservative but this is tiresome

The old stadium was NOT across the street

Because if Mac was good for anything it was his explosive plays
