Yeah... that inactive list is pretty telling. The 2019 draft class, outside of Damien Harris, was complete garbage, headlined by Harry himself. OOF!

And THAT's the reason why this game is pretty much a no win situation for the Pats. No matter WHAT they do today it is going to be diminished by the fact tat they are playing the Jags. If the Jags beat the 16 point spread, then it will be viewed as a vast disappointment. If the Pats DO beat it, then it will be "Hey, so what. It was the Jags". And if the game is close or God forbid, they lose, then it will be known to some posters here as the "best day of the season" yet because of the fuel they will have when they post after the game, BECAUSE it was against the Jags.

I don't see a situation here where anything they do will be viewed as a positive. "But... it was against the Jags" will be the refrain that will be heard so often that it will become like one of those tunes that you.can't get out of your heads

This is true, but the bottom line is we need a win period. It's still a big game in the sense we could lock up a playoff spot today. Perfect team to play after back to back losses.

You know i step back and just look at everything and to be contending, with a realistic shot at a playoff spot in just Mac's first year, I'll take that.

We are coming of a year of Cam and before that the greatest to ever play that position. Each team has its own unique talent level/personality mix/effort level/knowledge level.

This year still is to play out but this game is a game that our guys should win. Would love to see Mac play well. Have the Jags respect both. We get into the playoffs and teams are gonna force Mac to beat them. Until he can, and that line can block and those wideouts make plays....teams are going to treat NE as a one dimensional team. Its that simple.

Win this game and get that feeling back....take it from there. As a fan I can't complain at all. Very thankful they are back in the mix. Again, Slate sent a message. For the 2021 season and like High has said in the past, no more 'my bads' anymore.
