Was an exceptional team. To those who insist NE 2007 was the GOAT, I’d counter with both (1) the O was unreal in September, less so in the winter and (2) the D was getting older and benefitted greatly from having huge leads in many game stages.

I wish we kept him. Other than I liked him not sure why. No idea if he would have been good still. Had to be able to provide something considering our needs.
There is a much simpler way : win the SB. Flukey - at times - but the 2007 team had ample chance to flexing their offensive strength. All game long. They didn’t.

HA HA,,, Go to NFL.com. I go there to check exactly what time the game starts. What happens? They got a freaking Madden simulation game running on the top of the screen. It was funney because our Defense just kept killing them. It clipped out after about 20 to nothing but it was cool.
