Yeah, OAK is playing hyper-aggressive upfront, lots of man coverage, taking away everything short.

If they're not willing to take some deep shots with Byrd, Harry, etc, they're not going to get much production today.

It's actually a pretty smart gameplan by the Raiders - emulating a lot of what Baltimore has done in the past.

Cam has gotta trust his receivers, especially Harry, and try to work Asiasi in a bit as well.

Biggest problem is the extremely aggressive one-gapping 4-3 defense the Raiders have- their line is consistently getting into the backfield to disrupt misdirection and motions. We have to turn that against them.

Not an awesome start...

The read option stuff isn’t going to do **** today if the DE stays home and we can’t get anyone open in the short and intermediate levels of the field. They won’t allow anything deep as they’re a primarily zone-based coverage unit. Cam is going to need to beat them from the pocket today or the play will result in short or negative yardage every time.

if we give up 6 yards a carry we are in trouble

lost Agholor in open space. Someone messed up their assignment.

So far, this game feels a lot like Brady's last games here, with a little of Cam's mobility sprinkled in

Receivers need to get separation

The weakness of the Patriots offensive system is the pass catches need to win their match ups for it to work. There is no designed play to get them open often. For instance in KC all the plays are designed to open one or two particular targets up. In our system it's more about making the right read to create seperation. If you don't have at least decent WRs your guys never get open. With our skill position talent I think favoring designed plays would be massively better right now.

On offense, were getting beat up at the LOS. If carr gets in a groove, I dont feel good about this one.

Raiders are actually playing smart football. Sent RB out to motion, Carr sees we are in man coverage, and hits Renfrow on the quick slant.

Jonathan Jones is having a lowkey BAD season.

Would be nice if he showed some effort to recover after getting beat.

Don't want to get down and play from behind against these guys.

Keane’s inactive.

Copeland slow to get off field, so we burn a timeout. Bad start.

Pass rush is not getting there.

They've been playing a smart game on both sides of the ball.

BB and McD gonna have to wake up. DL gonna have to show up.

really missing Hightower these past couple of weeks

from what I’ve seen Kontra they’ve been playing man against our WRs. It’s the smart move as aside from Edelman our WRs haven't shown the ability to separate.
