Zappe is doing fine (qb rating 155). There's an awful lot of inconsistent play elsewhere. Not really bothered about it. This year is about next year. I am enjoying watching the process of building a team over multiple years. I've been a Pats fan for a looong time, and I've certainly seen far worse than this.

Mac's downfield accuracy and height and speed + Zappe's quick reads, fast release, command of the pocket.

Get one of those transformers from The FLY and stick them both in there

It’s frustrating because they’ll play fantastic for a couple weeks to make you think they figured it out. Just no consistent from the defense since the boogeymen year.

I never really bought into the idea that the d was as good as it looked the last couple of weeks. The LBs are jags or are injury prone. And at this point three of the best defensive players are out
