Official Free Agency 2018

It seems very unlikely that the badger would play for less than $12M AAV, for one, 2, 3 or 4 years.

I didn't watch Tyrann Mathieu last year, but I had heard he wasn't close to being the same player he was prior to his last injury. He can't be worse than Richards and he would definitely give the Patriots Defensive Backfield the kind of flexibility they've been looking for.. Maybe a Prove it deal would work, though with the claim that he and his agent believe he can get more on the free agent market than what he was getting in AZ, it's unlikely he'll go for that.

Saints are not idle . They bolster their defense. First Robinson, next Davis.

Zach Brown would look great in this defense as would Preston..I seriously want to know if the fact Tom is 41 and BB is being talked about like a dictator the reason players aren't signing here then Gronk and Kelce are screwing us

The Patriots and Donkey Kong Suh should be a match!

Twitter feed on here is ridiculous..."Patriots linked to every FA".

AFC Quarterbacks are praying we don't really sign Suh.

Browns signed 2 OT already. Chris Hubbard 5 years/$38m and Donald Stephenson 1 year/$2.5m so no Cleveland won't
Justin Pugh, G/OT, Giants. At the "Cuse", Pugh was a very effective LT. The Giants moved him inside. He was a serviceable RT. Can Scar make him back into a LT? He is rated as the 8th best player in FA. The Giants would be aghast if he because a solid LT here.

The two leading tacklers on the Patriots were there two safeties. That should tell you all you need to know about where the Patriots should be adding players, and not subtracting

The Patriots have taken 1 step in bolstering the D-line with the addition of Shelton. Now they need a couple of LBs..

People seem to forget just how many injuries the Pats had on defense last year.
They were without Hightower for 11 Games
They were without Vincent Valentine all season.
They were without Branch for most of the season.
They were without Derek Rivers for the season and he looked awesome.
They were without Shea McClellin all season.
They lost Cyrus Jones for the season and he'd looked like he'd turned the corner finally until his knee injury.
They lost Jonathan Jones late in the year.

When you lose that many players to injury, most teams will be hard-pressed to cover them. The fact that the Patriots made it to the SB and would have won had the league called the 2 TDs back the way it should have.

Do the Patriots need to improve? Yes. Have they started doing that? Yes. Is there 4.5 months before the start of Training Camp? Yes. So a lot of things can happen.

Not gonna be a grammar nazi, but more commas might’ve helped him understand what you were saying a lil better. English being his second language and all that.

And still have BB and TB12. With those two I like our chances

yep. thought Pats would be in on him . esp. w NYJ letting him go
not too steep for one of the best on the market . but with High and KVN signed worng timing i guess..

Im hoping Hightower, Valentine, Rivers all come back and produce. There are a a few guys in the draft I like. I hope they add 2 or 3 guys to that front 7, and a corner of course (I have no hope for cyrus jones)

Many other cap cuts coming soon.

They should be in on these big time released defensive players because they won't count against their significant compensatory draft picks coming.
