Thomas retiring hurts the Pats. Cleveland going to grab Waddle or Fleming now at a big overpay? Houston takes the other?

hmm the Patriots signing a DE that had multiple sacks on the Superbowl losing team two years before....

We have all seen this movie and it didn't end well...

That being said, if the price is right, he would be an upgrade.

I think you're mistaking him for Grady Jarrett. Clayborn was on IR that year.

How about both

They could certainly do it. Murphy should be cheap coming off of an ACL a positive PED test prior to that.

Does that mean he is free to use PEDs to get back to full strength? I'm just wondering, if you are already facing a suspension, do they stop testing you until after you serve your suspension? If that's the case, I say juice up!!

Its an interesting hypothetical?

How about a Blount reunion? Any interest?

Want nothing to do with Clayborn, of course that means we're overpaying him

According to Spotrac they have about $11m in cap space. Not sure if that is accurate. You're right though. Several teams seem to have more cap space than one would think. Do they manage (or violate) the cap better than NE? I doubt it.

Neither Spotrac nor OTC are current since most of the FA deals (and terms thereof) aren't official yet. Lotta data to process in a short time frame, so I imagine that it might be at least the weekend before they're close to real numbers again.

Browns signed 2 OT already. Chris Hubbard 5 years/$38m and Donald Stephenson 1 year/$2.5m so no Cleveland won't
