Fant is massively overrated IMO. Yes he tested well and was impressive on the field at times... but he's a guy I think people were too fast to fall in love with due to his speed. I question his ability as a football player.

Here is something no one else talks about with Fant... of his 500 or so yards last year almost 300 of them came in 3 games vs horrible competition. He didn't do much in any of the other games really. The year before was petty much the same thing with him pouring it on some of the absolutely worst teams in division one.

He's a bad blocker and when he faced better competition he didn't do much. I'm not calling him a bust. I'm calling him overrated.

As a woman myself, I can hardly disagree. But fwiw the situation with Simmons--before he started college--was that he stepped into a nasty fight between two women, on behalf of one who was a member of his family. Since then he's reportedly been a paragon, not just "stayed out of trouble" but an actively positive citizen.

But yes, the video is awful and there's no erasing that.

Sometimes pre-draft rumors do mean something. There was a ton of late talk about Savage going much earlier than mocks were predicting.
