nobody cares.

Well you came in this thread to see it. Notice it's an AFCE thread, it has to do with football so you can just see yourself out. It won't concern you. Hey, here's an idea, how about you actully post what you think the Pats will draft. Oh wait, you have no idea, that won't work.

Aqua,

I was listening to Sirius NFL radio this morning. They were talking about what happens if the Dolphins get Trent Green before the draft. The hosts were saying it would cause several things to happen in the draft. They mentioned probably Daunte Culpepper could get released and potentially picked up by Oakland. Then, Oakland would take Calvin Johnson number one.

They also thought if the Dolphins get Trent Green they will not go after Brady Quinn. I personally diagree with that theory.

I thought I would pass on that info.

Sirius NFL Radio is good stuff if you ever get a chance to get Satellite radio.

Regards,

Russyracuse

Yeah there have been a ton of theories being spread throughout the Culpepper/Green camps. I disagee with that thought too, Green would be a perfect bridge to Brady Quinn.

Aqua,

I hope I am wrong about Brady Quinn. I watched many of his games and I am still not sure about him. However, when the Pats drafted Brady I couldn't have seen him turning out as great as he did.

Well in terms of a Pats fan, and assuming the Fins got Quinn, wouldn't you hope that you were right?

As a Pats fan I don't hate the Dolphins. If he is a bust it would be better for the Pats. Trust me I was thrilled Dolphins decided on Culpepper rather than
Brees. Drew Bress killed the Pats when he was on the Chargers.

It's the Jets I can't stand. The border war is back on. It is the New York/ Boston thing.

Ahh I see. Well just so you know, it's the Pats I hate the most. But the Jets and Bills are tied in a VERY close 2nd.

As a Pats fan, I sincerely hope that the Fins do not get Quinn. Call me crazy, but I think that he will have twice the career that JaMarcus Russell will. Plus, if they get Green too, he will be under Green's tutilege until he gets the start which only helps him more. Mark my words: Brady Quinn in aqua and orange means bad things for the Pats reign atop the AFCE.

Sure does, that's why I can't wait to hear Goodell announce his name while the Dolphins are on the clock.

I would say that Millen would take him (seeing as he doesn't need another WR), but then again this IS Matt Millen we're talking about.

I don't think Millen goes QB in the first round and for a couple of reasons. Going with Adams puts less pressure on Millen as far as the Lions taking steps forward. Another player like Joey Harrington would just be detremental to Millen's chances of staying in Detroit. And 2) Martz loves John Beck out of BYU. I think they'll go with him with the 34rd pick in the draft.

I did hear that the Lions were in love with Adams and rightly so. But Millen loves receivers and Calvin Johnson lining up on the other side of Roy Williams would be potent. I could have a Pro Bowl year at QB with those two and, believe me, I'm no quarterback.

LOL! That's pretty funny man. Johnson is a freak, plain and simple, the dude is sick. I've always had a philosophy that you don't draft the same position in the first round in back to back drafts and the Lions have done it for 4 years. I think they'd be dumb to take a WR. They just signed Mike Furrey to an extension, signed Shawn McDonald and like you said, have Roy Williams. They would have some serious explaining to do if they took a WR for a 4th straight year.

I find it funny how this thread was rated 1 star when it's actully intended for real football talk. Imagine that, NFL talk on a football message board, hm, weird. It's not smack so immediately it's garbage for the resident douche bags here at patsfans. (You know who you are.)

yet you keep coming back and cant get enough lol

You care about how many stars your thread is? LMAO. I really am curious as to if this russyracuse is really Aqua. But russyracuse is also a random name.

actaully i think its something about fin heaven, b/c my friend is a dolphisn fan and goes on finheaven, and he asks me whenever he's over how many stars the thread was rated....so iguess its a finheaven thing

and enough on the knocking of aqua, we all made our point last year, and he's apologized and what not...

what i'm saying is we all just grow up and move on, he's talking good football,

come on...dont want to be like those jet fans....we're better than that...

i think you get the most out of the dolphin fans, interms of actual football talks

thats why imo, dolphin fans are like 2nd on my list when talking football, b/c you'll always find the best debates with division rivals.....minus the jets, b/c they're all idiots, and i dont see any bills fans anywhere

as for the draft talk, now that it is over, i'm very surprised....

i'd understand the lions taking cj and another qb...but not really the dolphins....taking ginn is a huge reach, esp if you're probably just going to use him as a pr/kr....

i guess if the dolphisn dont get trent green, culpepper will stay on the team as the starter and mentor edwards or beck, whoever they got in the 2nd round lol.....

and in other news...what were the eagles thinking????? lol then again idk much about kolb....so it may be a great pick up for them....

good for the browns too....picking up two top 5 prospect....in terms of the first day, they hit big....
