I really like his arm and how quick his release is. Good find late in the draft. The Patriots have really done their homework and crushed the last two drafts. Now they have to have the patience to stick with them and develop them.
They will. They carried guys in the 53 last year to keep them around long term for developmental purposes. I am sure they’ll do the same this year. Vrabel is a very long-term view guy.

My only concern with Morton over Devito is game management, but damn he handled that like a pro. Pretty clean operation and mostly recognized pressure. He obviously has a stronger more accurate arm than Devito.
DeVito hasn’t looked as good as I expected but has been fine. Morton has looked substantially better than I expected, nearly as good as DeVito and better in some specific aspects. He seems like a guy perfectly suited to the McDaniels offense.
