The problem with FA now is that they're making so much money that they don't really need the delta between their current team's offer and team x's offer. So it becomes a lifestyle choice, and they like where they're already at. If you can make $48m over 3 years to stay, why leave to the unknown for an extra 15% that you'll likely never need?
