DRAFT DAY DISCUSSION Official 2025 Draft Day Thread: Day Three

Feels like a fine draft so far. Other than Woodson, felt like every pick was in a reasonable range by consensus. Every players position seems clear - no tweeter projects like Mapu - and fit need areas with clear path to playing time.

With BB he used to take some random reaches or tweeter guys or just players at positions we weren’t targeting. To be fair, he mostly but great teams without tons of obvious crippling weaknesses so he was able to truly just trust BPA. But the reaches and projects were frustrating on draft day as a fan following.

Last year they seemed very focused on need but to the point of being so rigid about it that they reached.

This year seems like about as good as you can hope for on paper on draft day. Doesn’t matter if these guys can’t play, but for a draft day evaluation it’s tough to complain.

I have been telling my wife this is the first draft I have been 100% happy with ever. She reminded me that we won all the time when I did not like the drafts...

Draft LB Jeffrey Bassa, a Kicker and call it a day.
Let’s get some good UDFA’a as well.
Huge fan of Bassa. Chris Paul is also available, I believe

I predict at 171 universal praise and everything is amazing.

Won Free Agency. Check.

Won the Draft. Check.

Finished in the bottom 5 worst teams in the league?
This is gotta be a B or B + draft after today. They got a slew of starting players who competed in the SEC and Big10.

Still to come undrafted guys.

I get it and anywhere else I would not care. But I have been coming to this place for 20 years and this place means something to me (yes sentimental BS). So I hate when I see such ugliness here and does not sit well with me if I don't call it out.
Thank you for your service

Zah Frazier as a project with last 5th round pick ??? 6'3 CB with 4.36 speed ??

Bassa to the Chiefs.

This is what championship teams do. They have the luxury of taking high character team captains, QBs of the defense, winners.

Questions about his athleticism? OK.

But if this guy can actually play athletically, the Chiefs brought in yet another guy to keep the championship never-say-die attitude going

Chiefs are also known for taking low-character guys who drive around drunk, and beat up little kids and women.

At this rate Wolf will be trading Polk to the Browns for their #1 & #2 picks next year! And yes, I’m kidding (maybe)!
Nothing lights a fire under the *** of the guy in front you like somebody who will take your job.
