Milton weighs less than White, is there any possiblity he plays more end than we think too?

Milton is a thick 290 white is a thin-ish 285

He doesn’t but then who plays DT?

Here is how I’d see it:

You have either a 3 man front (over T, C, T) and an edge guy (Landry)
or a 4 man with DTs over the Gs and DEs including Landry outside eye of the T.

I think white is best as a 3 man line DE. Williams and Barmore are your DTs.
White can move inside in 3rd down so you need another edge to both back up Landry and playbook 3rd down.
If you have a 4 man front then it doesn’t change on 3rd down and the extra edge guy isn’t as important.

In other words it’s whether in a 3-4 you want White to be a DE or OLB.

It comes down to what you consider White and I see him as more DT/DE mix than DE/OLB mix.
If the Pats see him as DE/OLB it reduces the need for more edge but increase the need for more beef on the DL
