It's funny because a lot of us questioned how good Mayo would be without Steve here. "Was Mayo really doing much game planning and calling the plays or was it Steve?" Then it ends up with Mayo not really doing it at all and giving much of the responsibility directly to Covington, who immediately does a great job. Didn't see that coming.
Up to this point I am flabbergasted. Absolutely solid game plan, outstanding coaching, and even Brissett is being a solid game manager. That green dog blitz was done to perfection.
