I was a huge Thornton fan he was my draft binkie but I was incredibly concerned when his college coach was shocked he want so early.

I think we can probably get modest but worthwhile value forhim, so I would do the trade. His speed may be exceptional, but his play to this point has not been. There are always teams seduced by the measurables: let him go for whatever. The added benefit is that you can then give some of the rookie WR's a fuller trial before deciding which of them to ditch as well.
Absolutely. There is nothing wrong with TH.. guys everything you like in a WR.. I say if we could get him and slayton in FA.. we will have a nice WR room for Drake.
I'd be fine with trading him: not quick enough to defense the pass as a safety, not big enough to play linebacker. He's also one of the few players on the roster you might actually get something for. He's a good player, but hardly indispensable.
I get it. But Dugger Is still young and is an excellent player for us. He just got a new deal so if anything I'd say hold on to him. He's a team captain and leader.

I wonder if Seattle might be interested in a Dugger/Metcalf swap. Seattle could use a guy like Dugger and has plenty of WRs. Meanwhile, NE needs a guy like Metcalf in a bad way. NE could throw a pick on top to sweeten the deal.
Per lazar ol is looking like lowe-jordan-brown -robinson-onwenu. Interesting to see if robinson has rebounded, he did look better until the injury against jville.

I think they’d rather let Maye be successful even if it means the defense is losing them games, because they think Mayo will be able to fix up the defense next year if they draft and sign some decent pieces. They drafted all offense last year except for the 6th rounder Dial. It’s a lot harder to build up a good offense than a decent defense IMO

Coach up the defense, if the Patriots are scoring 30 plus points a game the defense isn’t as important.

I think Dugger + a 4th would get it done. Dugger has 3 years left on his deal after 2024 with NE eating the signing bonus; Metcalf only has 1 year left on his deal after 2024 with a high salary, so NE will need to extend him fairly quickly.
This is the first game I am not able to watch in over 10 years I think. They have always had the Pats on over here no matter what. I guess no one wants to see an 2-6 and 1-5 team play !! Anyone know where I can stream the game ? I need my patriots fix !!!
