His official pre-draft measurement was 6 ft 1?2 in.He is 5’11.5, below avg arm.
Not a legit starter.
BUT…totally good with him as backup

That’s the height that most undersized weak armed QBs report themselves to be or they wouldn’t get a second look. His official pre-draft measurement was 6 ft 1?2 in.

Half the QBs who have made the Super Bowl in the last 25 years have been mediocre at best. You are right ….hitting on a franchise QB is extremely difficult….finding a Brady or Mahomes is like hitting the lottery…almost impossible!
He’s a few sausages short of a BBQ.Triumph post incoming
So you mean we have a chance with zappe if other stars align....Half the QBs who have made the Super Bowl in the last 25 years have been mediocre at best.
So there's that.
You keep lobbing me easy momma jokes. I will continue to practice maturity…He’s a few sausages short of a BBQ.
I thought he said "B-More".Did he just call Barmore “Seymour”? Lol. I guess that’s a compliment
He said we lost 5 spots tonight. Even winning out we wouldn’t drop to 8.Winning out. All the tankers are convinced we will win out and it’s breaking their hearts.
And half of the other half have been Tom Brady, who skewed all the stats.Half the QBs who have made the Super Bowl in the last 25 years have been mediocre at best.
So there's that.

Zappe reported himself at the minimum height for scouts to even look at a guy like him. What he says isn't relevant. He measured 6' 1/2" at the combine. But I guess you've got a narrative and facts don't matter.
How about we let Zappe’s play determine whether he is a legit starter. All the stats I’ve read put Zappe at 6’1….never seen 5’11….but either way he has shown a ton already this year….happy for him and hope he gets a chance to compete next year against a vet or rook
The guy who never won a playoff game and the guy who won the most. Like carbon copies huh?You are right….this win changes nothing….BB still gets fired or traded….clean house …and start a new era here. Right now BB reminds me of Marvin Lewis during the second half of his stint in Cincy….mediocrity and horrible decision making….time for change
He is the best ever, so he should have a contract as long as he wants one.It really wouldn't.
Just another mid season with zero direction and no results.
The Patriots can't keep finishing around 7 wins and for y'all to just accept this as good results.
Bill should be fired based on the results post Brady.
He doesn't get a forever contract
He was dreadful in camp and in preseason. Like McCorkle terrible. The rest of the league shared that opinion or someone would have claimed him on waivers.A bigger question is why did the Patriots cut zappe multiple times, try and find a replacement for him.
I'll give them sticking with Mac Jones when you have a 1st round QB you want to give them every opportunity. Although in hindsight if we move on earlier we probably have a few more wins by now.
But it's clear zappe at least belongs in the league as a backup. And patriots did everything they could to get rid of him.
