Jack Campbell at 18, a lot of people thought the Pats could get him at 46.

One of my few binkies this yr .. not surprised to see him go this high .. if edges and corners were gone i saw him as BBs guy with a deeper trade down in the 20s .. but not complaining..

I NEVER thought González would be there, thought they’d have to trade way up. No offense to Witherspoon, but I like González way more. All you have to do is watch the film to see how good he is, and then he confirmed his explosiveness by running 4.38 and had a vertical of 41.5 and a broad jump of 11.1, just explosive. A 41.5 vertical at 6’1” 200. We finally have a corner who can cover the BIG receivers. I’m beyond happy, thinking he was gonna be off the board in the top 10.

I was mad they traded down, thinking they’d lose out on González. So thrilled with this pick. Beyond thrilled.
