Nit pick much??
Ya.

Look, let's not settle on some shifty undersized WR because we are so goddam hungry for a wideout that we lust for every freakin' guy that could be an NFL receiver. Maybe. This year's draft class is thin. I am not gonna get excited about some rail thin guy when 1) we already have that guy in Thornton and 2) 20 years of history isn't liable to change overnight because we wish it. I'd hope that Bill will get a bonafide wideout, but it's proven that he doesn't value or grade the position like the rest of the NFL. You tell me it's QJ or JSN in round one? Fine. Some skinny azz lithe kid ? Forgive me if I roll my eyes and prefer that they pick a corner or a LB where they have a proven track record of success. I don't want some undersized dude that is gonna get his azz kicked until he beefs up. Sorry.

JSN or QJ or else draft one in rounds 4-5. Or a vet / Jeudy.

Hello their Shiftiness is off the charts Dell and Addison that is they know how to use their bodies. See twiggy Jr below 170lbs soaking wet.

Addison has a 4.19 Short Shuttle and a 7.05 3-cone. Not what I'd call "off the charts"

We have no idea about Dell unless you have information from his Pro Day.

Do you have Devonta Smith's SS and 3-Cone? (hint: It's not on RAS)

And he’s been in the Not For Long for 2 years.
He's got AJ Brown opposite him. That sure helps.

You heard it from me 1st... if zappe beats out Mac in camp.. Mac will be traded.. my bold prediction!!!

Lol my bad bro.. I didn't catch that.. I'm saying this season though.. if Zappe beats him out RK will do a solid for Mac and trade him..
@Zappe Hour I know this may not be related..but I was listening to NFL network and it's just funny how they all anointed Burrow as supposedly the best QB.. I like Burrow, but my hierarchy is Mahomes, Allen, Jackson, Burrow.. just my hierarchy of QBs..

Take away Higgins and chase.. give him 3s and 4s like the GOAT won with for so many years.. and let's see then... just saying that's all bro..

I agree

I’m starting to sound like a broken record on this, but…
Now that the wave of free agency is over, and most remaining will take one year prove it deals, I would really like to see the team bring in:
* A’Shawn Robinson to push/spell Godchaux
* Not sure the reaction on this but Justin Houston as a pass rush specialist/mentor. Guy can still get after the QB
* Matthew Ioannidis seems like a versatile DL piece in the Lawrence Guy mold

Just some thoughts

Agreed! Your not sounding like a broken record at all.. this roster is far from a finished product.. Robinson would be a great pick up... it's odd we've yet to hear anything on guy... I wonder if he's contemplating retirement.

There are still some good players still out there in FA.. I'd imagine teams are waiting for after the draft... also I'm not sure why there seemingly is no urgency on adding CB depth.. I'm not going to rely on a rookie to come in and be that guy we need.. guys like Sauce are generational guys..

Agree on CB. Marcus Peters would be a good add on the outside with the Jones’s

Absolutely agree, he's a perfect veteran to mix in with the guys we have.. we need depth.. CB'S are always dealing with foot & ankle ailments during the grind of the season..

On the DL it looks like a six man rotation with two young guys (Mitchell and Roberts) inactive or ST only.
Godchaux, Wise, Barmore and Guy are likely locks. Would like to get younger at the Guy spot, but he is a leader on and off the field. So he stays. Ekuale is just fine with his job as #5. Could add A’Shawn or draft a run stuffer in the 5-6 rounds to compete with Carl Davis to backup DG. Roberts and Mitchell are upgradeable, but fine in their current asdignments.

Yeah.. I'd made mention before that we need to add some depth on the D line.. godchaeux, wise need to be spelled during the game to be fresher long term.. I guess I could say that about the entire front 7.. we have a good mix of older guys and younger guys... uche is the real deal.. I'm expecting him to be a 3 down player this season.. uche, judon, wise barmore ( when healthy) is a potent pass rush.. I definitely agree, as you mentioned see some depth coming in the draft.. with a 17 game schedule you need your defense to be deep and have a nice rotation..

At LB, consistently had 7 guys on the 53. Bentley, Judon, Uche and Tavai seem like locks to me. Board comes in and takes out one of McMillan or Wilson. Jennings seemed to play better last year but he is my primary upgradeable guy. Wouldn’t mind a edge setting run first olb to pair with Uche coming in on passing downs.

No surprise here, but (as long as they view Mills as a solid FS) I see CB as our biggest need on defense. DL, LB and S should be solid with a few minor upgrades if possible. CB is still thin as we talked about earlier. The 3 Jones are solid. Bryant will likely be our backup slot. Adding a Peters and a slot cb to battle with Bryant.

I think Perkins might be in the mix.

I think it is Y2 for Roberts and Mitchell so I am not sure we know what we have or don't have with those guys.

Yes me as well. It's just odd to see no FAs added at corner.. for instance a veteran like Terrance Mitchell who was a savvy vet, with good NFL experience was signed last season and was one of the best players in camp and pre- season.

He got hurt in camp ended up being cut.. we could have used him during the season. I like our starting guys.. however depth is a huge concern especially when we go to dime packages.. not sure really what BBs thinking.. I'm sure he still remembers Allen and Diggs are still in this division..
