What update on Mayo are you waiting for? Hes ILB coach.

id like to see the team make it official. He has said thats what his role is but he doesnt even show up on the coaching staff page yet

The team website isn't as official as you think it is. Nobody with pull in the organization is keeping those pages updated; it's probably an intern with similar qualifications to me.

Personally I don't think it needs to be official but I understand why you are asking.

they took down the guys who left pretty fast. But the Patriots have not made an official announcement

Reiss says that Kevin Faulk, Deion Branch and Troy Brown are all at camp and running drills. However anything about them joining the coaching staff seems to be purely speculative but does claim a role is available for them. However all of these guys are likely to be on the offensive side of the coaching staff so it doesn't clear up much about their notable coaching staff holes.
