Dante Scarnechia disagrees, and a lot of people had him as a top 15 talent in the draft... He could be a stop gap at LT while Garcia develops, or they get another guy and then kick over to RG if Mason leaves via FA next year... he provides a very good football player on the offensive line.. a line that needs to keep a 41 year old QB healthy

So you are saying the Pats used the 23rd pick as a stop gap until their third round pick last year is ready??????

Gotta take Lamar Jackson at 31. Worth the dart throw. Need QB of the future now so he can learn under Brady for a few years.

Natural athlete and running QB plus honing passing working w Brady = potential future star qb.

They could get him with the 11th pick in the 2nd round, or trade up..

Round 1:
32. Eagles - definitely not taking a QB

Round 2:
1. Browns - Not taking a QB
2. Giants - Doubt they take a QB, they appear to be in win now mode with Eli.. but its possible
3. Browns - Not taking a QB
4. Colts - Not taking a QB
5. Colts - Not taking a QB
6, Tampa - Not taking a QB
7. Bears - Not taking a QB
8. Broncos - They could possibly take one, but they have Keenum
9. Raiders - Not taking a QB
10. Miami - This is the key.. Miami could definitely take one


If they could trade with one of those teams ahead of Miami, they could get Jackson unless the Giants shock everyone and take him with the 2nd pick
