While I'd love to have a second round pick, I have confidence that BB and Pioli will make some strong picks with what we have left.

I think the Jets have helped themselves, but they paid a pretty hefty price in terms of draft picks. I'm glad to see they won't be on the clock until late tomorrow.

Exactly, can't wait to see how the folks here spin this one. Well, next years third is way better than this years, and we get a 7th !! wowowowowow......we robbed Davis again, like in the Gabriel trade......uhhhh....brilliant draft.

Certainly not a blockbuster deal, but since next year's draft should be better, it looks like an upgrade. It may also be grease for the gears in the Moss deal...

MOSS is GARBAGE. He's not worth having on this team. Especially not 9.75 million in salary. Why are people so hot for a guy who has QUIT on his team in Minnesota and in Oakland?

Pats got Oakland's 3rd round pick in 2008 and their 7th round pick this year.

Pats1-- It has nothing to do with the NAMES. It has to do with restocking TALENT. Something the Pats aren't doing right now. Not with 4 WRs on 1 year contracts.

We have plenty of WR signed or on team options. Stallworth, Welker, Washington, Jackson.

Also, the Pats got TAKEN in their deal. Especially after the way that the Bears took the Chargers. Its about VALUE and, I'm sorry, but its going to really suck having 2 picks next year in the bottom 3rd of the draft only to have BB and Pioli trade into 2009.

There no guarantee at all that SF will do that well. Their O/U, IMO, should be 8. They're an average team.

Is the draft the only way you can improve your team? Did we not upgrade through free agency as well? Much more than say a team like Miami. We added guys who have proved themselves to be good to great players already in the NFL where other teams are inserting guys who have "potential". And potential is a dangerous word.

Yes, I am just loving the plethora of LBs that the Pats have signed to give them the depth they need at ILB in case of an injury. OH WAIT. That's right. They haven't signed a SINGLE ILB. So they are going to have to rely on Seau (who is injury prone and 37 years old) to come in and do the job.

Another Cleveland-Dallas trade. Browns pick up a solid CB in Eric Wright.

The Browns are going to be an improved team this upcoming season.

Just ten more picks until the 3rd round.

Yeah this guy has legit issues. Meriweather's minor incidents are peanuts compared to Eric Wright's.
