O/T: Sean Payton interviews Rex Ryan for DC job

Joking aside , I always had the impression that the Ryan bros were decent co-ordinators in their day , however could they now be classed as "coaching in the past" and not up to the new ways of the NFL defences/offences etc ? I would guess that SP would try to get a mix of experience and new blood on his coaching staff ?

Hey...WTF...our government installs
these fuggin' DEGENERATES in positions of power...why not hire a goddyamed toe sucking degenerate POS to teach the younger generation about true WOKE-TOE-ness...

Good hire by Payton of Rex takes the job.

I think if Rex puts his best foot forward, he has a good chance at the job. Hes a free-thinker and definitely not a guy who toes the company line.
(In a Boston accent): He can have Janet Jackson come ovah and have him play with heh meta-tassels.

IIRC, Payton had his brother as DC at one point, and it didn’t end well. I want to say, the year of the Kembrell Thompkins game winner from Brady on the last play of the game?

One of my favorite reg-season game winners. Loved that.

I am really surprised that he's dipping his toe back in the water of NFL coaching. You'd have to think with his resume, he'd have a foot up on the competition. If I were in his shoes, I would probably stay retired, but what the hell do I know? I'd rather be footloose and fancy free. I guess I'd have to walk a mile in his shoes to know. Maybe he needs the money? If so, I bet he can pull himself up by the bootstraps and get the job done. I bet he really can knock their socks off in the interview process, I mean, the dude's been around. I doubt he'll shoot himself in the foot. Maybe he is just bored, and doesn't want to let the grass grow under his feet? Who knows.

As his legend grows, Wrecks might become a veritable Paul Bunion.

Ryan is a 100% certified douchebag POS that got eviscerated in the Steeler playoff game that revealed his true degenerate scumbag failings. Screw this bigmouth slob...let him do Dr Scholl commercials with his dipshyt wife..

That was a game I left early because I thought it was over. I learned my lesson and never left another Brady game early!
