The last year of his contract tolls into next season, his weight loss seemed to help him stay healthy & nimble...I think (hope?) that he plays here in 2021 and then looks at contract offers thereafter...I do not blame players for their choices amid Covid-19. They know best their and their relatives health conditions and of course they have rights to give up playing this season. However this season seems to be very weird, in some way a bit unfair because of the players decisions although I truly respect them. And unfortunately I think this could be Hightower's last rodeo as a Patriots.
Do not get me wrong but there a few concerns about Hightower. His absence during that season does not help him to be better on the field . Additionally Winovich,Jennings,Uche and Bentley ( or maybe another LB taken as a FA ) will want to prove their valuation. Do not forget Hightower's last season salary cap is 8 mln. $. If the young men plays well it might be an opportunity to say to Donta'e good bye. Like I said there are too many question marks and believe me I hope I am wrong. Why do you think that? All these opt outs don't happen without COVID.Chung is opting out because his wife is pregnant.
Whuh huh? This is nothing more than discussing the technicalities of opting out.lol But @XLIX who told me the NFL had this all wrapped up and did a great job!
Lol yes nothing more than a floating deadline for players that teams likely assumed they would have only to opt out. All part of the NFL's master plan!Whuh huh? This is nothing more than discussing the technicalities of opting out.
Seriously... wtf point are you making here? BTW, putting words in my mouth only proves the bankruptcy of your argument. You can't respond to what I actually said, so you make something up and respond to your world of make believe. Weaksauce.
Yes, teams are going to have to make adjustments. Why is that a problem? Are you suggesting they not allow players the ability to opt out??Lol yes nothing more than a floating deadline for players that teams likely assumed they would have only to opt out. All part of the NFL's master plan!
Lol move the goalposts all you want. You said what could the NFL have done that they didn't do? I said pretty much have done anything over the course of the last few months. You said big deal it is all wrapped up now so who cares? Here it is not all wrapped up. And for the record I hope every last player opts out.Yes, teams are going to have to make adjustments. OK now here's what was really said:Lol move the goalposts all you want. You said what could the NFL have done that they didn't do? Very dumb take. I'm sure the 'Brady factor' does matter for other things, but not this. At least he didn't double down. Most of those reporters would ride that hot take all the way through afterwards.Curran realized how much of a dumbass he was and apologized pretty quickly. Still.. an absolute moronic take.
