Nice day to leave work early as Jax/Pats is on again at 4PM.

Great read..

Croston sounds like the ideal PS candidate to be honest. He is not flashy enough to be claimed by anyone except maybe one of the teams we have joint practices with and will need another season of development but could be a contributor in a year.

Cant wait for this weeks practice reports and game. We might finally see some patterns forming and things becoming a bit more clear.
I agree; the brakes on the Cole Croston hype train need to be pumped a bit.
He doesn't have nearly enough sand in his pants at this time, and only 17 reps
at his pro day is just plain Unacceptable.

To be fair, captain, you've pretty consistently loathed every rookie interior lineman they've signed lately. (Croston can't be any worse than Thuney and Karras, right? ) I'm not about to pretend that Croston was on my pre-draft radar or that his measurables jump off the page, but on the field he has looked skillful and mobile, and potentially a good fit for this offense. Plus he has the most G/T flexibility of the backup candidates. I'd say he has some shot at the 53.
