N'Keal on the block?

Trade Harry now. He has zero role or business getting snaps behind Henry, Smith, Meyers, Algholar, Bourne. Add in Harris and occasional Edelman and that's already too many guys better who need the ball.

Would rather get a 4th round pick for Harry now than a 7th or nothing in 12 months. He's not going to get better. Banish McDaniels from any more bust offensive draft picks. In fact don't even consider drafting offense at all on day1.

.
Have you ever had a post that didn’t include the name Josh McDaniels in it somewhere?

Who had a bidding war for N’Keal Harry on their bingo card?
This is the Patriots. So the fact that this is all being put out in the public should make every one of us suspicious.

He's got a schtick, and he's going to stick with it. The fact that it's complete nonsense is irrelevant. "McDaniels sucks" is just his version of DWToys' "Cousin(s)....".

A fourth is not going to move them up much in the first round from 15 to 7 , which is where they need to go.
Of course not. It'll take much more.

Could be 2 4ths for a 2nd which they would include in a trade-up.

The goal is to accumulate as much draft capital as possible.

Id rather just keep him. Hes the missing piece to this offense (Big possession sideline receiver) IF he was good lol. I wouldnt judge him on last season with Cam

The problem with that particular example, is that teams rarely trade for draft picks before those picks are on the clock. So if the Pats are trading two 4ths for a 2nd, it's the 2nd round pick happening after they've theoretically traded up in the first.

Now, they could trade THEIR 2nd to move up, then use two fourths to trade back into the 2nd for a guy they like. So perhaps I'm just needlessly arguing semantics :)

Either way, I think a 3rd in 2022, by itself, would be worth more to this team than a 4th in 2021.

Yes.

The thinking is "Harry and a 3rd for a 2nd" or whatever is equitable.

If it involves NKeal Harry, Chad Jackson, Laurence Maroney, Tim Tebow, or complete lack of tight end production 2019 and 2020, these are all OC-relevant topics.

I know that’s Chase’s college number, but still that is low. N’Keal hasn’t even left the team yet!

Josh did not pick NKeal.

BillB did. His own pick.

You're not allowed to hope for anything positive from N'Keal anymore.

Chad Jackson, Laurence Maroney, TIM TEBOW and the entire Broncos roster decimation, Michel, Harry have McDaniels' fingerprints all over them. By the way cross off Mond entirely from the draft boards
