Nick Chubb test positive for COVID

He’s being facetious.

Facetious is one of those cool words that uses all 5 vowels only once and in order. If counting "y" as a vowel is your thing, we can say it facetiously.

And Chubb is no Sony Michel.

Must going off my own perception, I think he has about a 10-20% chance to play.

He would have to have two negative Covid tests in a 24 hour span, and since it’s a road game, I think the first would need to be Thursday night or Friday morning.

The possibility of a false positive test seems almost zilch because others also tested positive.

So, can he clear it in 2-3 days? That‘s rarely happened.
Yea I guess it's possible. Just seems like way too tight of a reasonable timeline to me.

He prob plays.

i think it's possible......they are tested weekly, so theoretically he could have been positive last monday or tuesday....assuming he's asymptomatic, he could in theory pull two negatives by the end of the week

but i wouldn't hold my breath

actually, around the positive cases, i would

Hmmm ... I was hoping for an extended but asymptomatic process.

I'd rather beat them at their best than let them (and all the haters) have excuses.

And no, I have no intention to make this post a political post. I just thought it was funny.

Nonsense, there must be pangolins at the Cleveland Zoo.

ME: Another thread that should be about a player in the protocol and whether or not he might play on Sunday.

ALSO ME: (Because I know what's coming)

It’s by design in certain quarters

I may be wrong but I don't think there's been any players that went into the covid protocol the week of a game that were able to play. I think I read it's taken about 7 to 10 days for them to clear the protocol, 10 being the maximum required if they can't test (-) the 2 days in a row.

Yeah not ones that tested positive, I have not heard of one. Only difference I guess is not sure when they found out.

I think they should sit him out for this Sunday: don’t want to compromise his health for just one game. Give him a week off!

I dunno, seems like a lot of trouble to go through as opposed to, you know, drafting him.

I think the only ones I've seen are ones that turned out to be false positives.

I don’t know why, but for some reason, I am OUTRAGED by this. Chubb should be spending his time locked in his basement by himself, pissing in mason jars, when he’s not practicing or playing. What a selfish POS to not think about others around him. I hope he loses his job, can’t afford to put food on the table, and he and his selfish family starve to death. I’ve had ENOUGH.
Eh... fake outrage *yawn*

you need new material
