How did the Giants' defense get to Dallas so quickly? Hill is the fastest (or one of them) player in the NFL and you let him dance around that much while the blocks develop. Terrible job on that play.

I actually knew that type of play was going to be called since Smith doesn't have the arm. I didn't actually think it would have got a TD though. I'm shocked! Teams have called this type of play before and never succeeded before. All blame goes on Marinelli for that.

KC doesn't have many hard games left on their schedule and we can't just assume we will pass them if stuff like this happens in the games they can potentially lose.

Should people rethink the hail mary defense?

Maybe 4 deep safeties in the end zone and 4 CBs backed up 15 yards that will play in front of the WRs would be better?

I know you don't want to remake the wheel after 1 blown play in 1000s but maybe it can be improved.

Nothing needs to be thought over about this. Marinelli is just a dumbass. Every one knows Alex Smith didn't have the arm to make a hail mary. The Cowboys needs to be better prepared for every eventuality. That's on Marinelli. And Garrett.
