NFL Week 9 Games

The NFL is just pitiful... even the "good teams" suck these days. Who is even actually good anymore?

The Packers started to slide a bit last year and this year they are basically an average team. It seems like this year we have alot of average teams. Lost of 4-4ish teams this season.

QB play has hit rock bottom this season. Look at Wilson, had 34 touchdowns last year, has only 5 in 7 games.

disagree. ryan and carr putting up great numbers. brees is still great. big ben was rolling, but injury happened. and then we have several guys putting up respectable numbers.

The afc west look's good right now. Very competitive. Raiders need to make a statement tonight. We will see.

SB 51 lombardi is shaping up to be the best of the worst.

For example, the 2007 Pats, 2007 Colts, and 2007 Chargers would probably beat 31/32 teams in the league right now. Those are just the top 3 teams in the AFC from that year, let alone the 13-3 Cowboys and champion Giants.

I said the Pats would face the Raiders in the AFC Championship Game in Foxboro this year.

Not looking like a swing and a miss so far....

Simms is an idiot, you should go for 2 now so you know you need to go for two touchdowns instead of when it's too late.

I feel the same way about this, this way you know for sure. The argument against it is, if you get a TD again you have momentum going for you, and the D is a little more tired. The argument does have merit.

Must be kinda tough for David, obviously he'd be happy for his brother but gotta suck he was the top pick and didn't get anywhere. Maybe he'd have been decent if he didn't get sacked so many times behind that horrible line.

I think people overrate the steelers alot in this forum. Call me crazy but i would be more concerned playing a ravens team then the squealers.

There was something satisfying watching packers lose today even though it was a colts win.

Carr carries himself well in interviews. He's really the type of person I'd root for.

Ravens will be a pain if they make it...

He will be a very rich man soon. Already talking about a contract identical to luck

I just have so much trouble when I hear about the "Champion" Giants from those years. They epitomize no champion-like characteristics you'd expect from a SuperBowl winning team. They were mediocre through the season, slipped into the playoffs with poor records, and, as expected, slipped right back into mediocrity the following year (to dispell any notion that they became a quality team at some point through those seasons).

That would be a fantastic matchup for us.

Their defense is horrendous. Their offense has been very good, but they tend to have issues converting key 3rd downs. They seem to be undisciplined too. I'd expect them to be very intimidated playing a playoff game in Foxboro (most teams are) given their lack of postseason experience.

But I don't think the Raiders make it that far.

Watch Derby play and get a few catches and the Pats fans get all ticked off he was traded.

Really?

Gotta give Thuggs some credit, he's been around the league. Not getting too excited about 5-4. Already looking at Thursday's game.

It doesn't matter how they get there. Some real mediocre Ravens teams have been trouble in the playoffs.
