NFL Week 8 Other Games

I remember when posters wanted him to replace Josh and thought he was HC material.
Living in Jax Beach, and hearing the local radio, a lot of the talking heads around here wanted him to be the Jaguars coach. The Jags are a dumpster fire, but they still dodged a bullet on that one.

It worked out for the Bucs 2 years ago since they also won a SB just like the Rams. We have to face the fact it's the new model. The Bills are doing it this year as are others. Bills are also over the cap in '23. If a team wins a SB using this model, pretty sure both the Owners and fans will think it was worth it. Being conservative with the cap by avoiding the signing of top end talent is fine unless you end up at the bottom of the division like the Pats. I doubt the owners and fans are happy with that outcome.
I'm not sure owners and especially fans will be happy with the outcome. The Pats went all in to win the SB in 2018 and many posters on this board are pissed about the outcome

The Bucs didn't go all in two years ago. A lot of their best players were still on their rookie deals (Godwin, Vea) or the last years of their deals (Barrett). And most of their free agent pick ups were older veterans over 30 on short term deals. They were paying a lot for free agents two years ago.

This year they paid through the nose to retain their top free agent talent over the last two seasons and picked up a couple other high price free agents.

Are we still going to do the “sign the beast” thing with Devin White when he’s a free agent in a year and a half or (more likely) on the trade block next offseason? He’s had plenty of other bad games like this, but this is the first time I remember the announcers calling attention to his awful play. The Bucs would have been significantly better off with Tavai last night.

Devin White has never been a beast in the nfl, at least consistently. He has those games where he makes a play or two that makes the highlights and people act like that's his game all the time.

He has a 15% miss tackle rate in his career. Ja'Whaun Bentley the guy a lot of this board want cut has a 7% miss tackle rate and his rookie year he had a 13% which inflates his number.

In 1800 coverage snaps in his career White has allowed 2000 yards. Bentley in 888 coverage snaps has allowed 780 yards
Devin White 1.1 yards allowed per coverage snap
Bentley 0.87 yards allowed per coverage snap

Devin White is ironically worse than Ja'Whaun Bentley who people hate and want cut. White gets carried by Lavonte David and that DL and being a top 5 pick.

But even given this info there are people that would cut Bentley today and give White a 5 year $85m deal

I don’t know about you guys, but can QB’s please stop wearing the Michael Jackson glove?

Stop what...? Saying the Falcons have a better record than the Bucs and a much easier remaining schedule?

The only reason the Bucs haven’t lost 6 games in a row in because of Jerome Boger…

They really should have lost to the Falcons. But somehow pointing out that the Falcons having a better record and an easier remaining schedule is me “being on the juice”, it’s a little bizarre.

Has Brady ever lost 5 of 6 before?

My thoughts haven't changed on the Bucs.

The Bucs are still winning their division and will have the best quarterback in the NFC playoff field. There's a reason they are 8th in Vegas Super Bowl odds while our team is tied with the Jets at 19.

Still pretty sad watching select users on this forum getting aroused at Brady's team/life situation being in a tough situation at the moment.

No, closest was the four in a row in 2002, but they won the three before and the two after those four losses.

While I’m not fully erect at this (still big) this is a patriot forum.
Loved the guy while here but now I don’t care

They're trash right now.

Realistic chance he loses 11 of 12

Rams- Could easily be an L
Seahawks- Geno Smith been actually good in that offense and Kenneth Walker has come on strong. Run D is an issue for the Bucs
Browns- Chubb & Hunt could be a problem for them. Bucs aren't that "can't run on D" anymore. 4 games allowing 150+, 2 of those they allowed 200+
Saints- Division game. Saints I think are 4-2 against Brady since he went to the Bucs
49ers- Another potential run defense problem with Shanahan's run game
Bengals- Could easily be an L

You mean you don't know? You know everything Brady hasn't done. Anyway anyone else notice that you credit all Brady's wins with someone else(stacked team, coaches, refs, etc,, etc) and all every loss is all on Brady? I mean I know I don't have a house worth 7 figures and all and I'm not worthy to debate you but maybe some other pleebs have noticed. Lol

I do know - I was just asking a question to troll. So no, Brady has never lost 5 of 6 before. I was told he doesn’t need coaching though.

It was a rhetorical question. Who doesn't know you're just a troll?

Anybody else watching this morning? Love morning football!

Hope everyone bet the under. Scoring should be tough. Denver's D is legit.

Russ always came across as a creepy little dude. Now he is a shytty QB too.
