Well let's see.... Looking at the skill position players in their recent drafts.

• Traded a ton for Mahomes, but was worth it.
• Got Tyreek Hill in the 5th in 2016. Dropped because of his domestic violence charge. So.... the same type of discount by which we got Aaron Hernandez.
  
• Travis Kelce was a third round pick all the way back in 2013. So he's been around a while.
• Kareem Hunt was a third round pick, which was where he was projected. Draft profile reads like a big ol "meh", so he's outperforming his predraft profile.
• Other skill position picks like RB Knile Davis (3rd round), RB DeAnthony Thomas (4th), WRs Demarcus Robinson, Jehu Chessen, and Chris Conley (4th, 4th, and 3rd) didn't amount to much. So it's not like they're batting 1.000.
  
• Also their defense sucks despite equal attention in the draft in the same time period.

So let's chalk it up to Andy Reid is a very good offensive coach, and their recent draft hits have REALLY hit. And they've been fortunate. And they chose a scumbag who is talented in Tyreek Hill.
