Don’t get why this is necessary.

And I don't get why crying and acting the way he was, was neccessary. I've seen children break bones on the football field and not act like that. In fact I had an 8th grader break his ankle and tore ligaments during a game left in an ambulance and required immediate surgery, and he barely shed a tear.

He is a dram queen and diva, doesn't make his injury any less, but no reason for a grown man to act that way when leaving the field.

It looked bad. His entire ankle was sitting flat on the ground while his shin went into a 45 degree angle.

Guys, while I think we all agree injuries are bad no matter who gets one, if Benard Pollard (or Benard Pollard Jr for that matter) got decapitated in the middle of the game the field crew should have just come out on the field with a couple of shovels and moved his carcass off to the side of the field so that the game could continue.

I hear you and I don't wish injuries on any of these players - even detestable Ward-types.

Having said that : I also find it a bit off putting when people INSIST on empathy. While I don't wish them harm, I don't care about any of these players. They aren't my friends and if they never existed, I'd be fine.
