Or the Pats could win and reassure a lot of people on this forum?

No of course not, we are doomed to a 2-14 season

So true! The Pats could win tomorrow night in blowout style and someone would make a thread tuesday morning complaining about something...I hope all of the above happens...

LT & Cromartie are washed up.

This is without Holmes in the line up....

well mabe they arent but lets wait for the season to finish. the jets have been here before in 2008 with favre and he was even being considered for mvp.they were 6-2 or something i believe.

It's like Alan Hansen

For those who don't know (which will be most), he is an ex-soccer player who is now a BBC pundit, who will find fault no matter what

The team could win 12-0, and he would still say something was bad!

Nah, too busy waiting for our defense to improve.

Is there anywhere saying he will be unstoppable with the Jets?

We shall wait and see, he could turn out like crap!

he will face our D too....

LT & Cromartie are washed up.

Well there were several times Evans burnt Cromartie, but Fitzpatrick threw horrible passes and another where Evans had the jump on Cromartie and stopped because he misjudged where the ball was.

LT on the other hand has looked great, bu so did BJGE vs. The Bills.

Looks like the "well, it's because Fitzpatrick" argument is an epic failure. The Jets are having no problems shutting that offense down. Watching that game, you get a really good idea of just how far our defense still needs to go.

Titans up by 4 after 3 quarters. They've completely shut down the Broncos running game, have pressured Orton all day, have sacked Orton 5 times, and they still only lead by 4. That's not a good sign for Tennessee heading into the 4th.

38-7 jets and they get holmes and pace back next week. get ready to hear jets all week and beyond and they probably deserve the accolades. God i hate LT ...

and Revis...

Even if he's mediocre he'll turn their already good receiving core into one of the best in the league. Edwards is actually catching passes, Keller is one of the best young TE's in the league, LT has turned back the clock, and Sanchez looks like a legit franchise QB.

The Bills receivers didn't do Fitzpatrick any favors on that drive.

how about STL up 17-3 over seattle. SD/SF must be kicking themselves..

all true ..but 12 games to play..they may end being world champs but lets see..i would hold the same thought e if our team was playing like that..

Also, everyone pointing to last week's Patriots rushing numbers might want to take a look at what the Jets have done. Thomlinson cracked 100 yards for the first time in 26 games.

They're different games, give me a break.

There's no doubt the Jets have a better defense than us but using this kind of logic has been proven wrong time and time again in the NFL

Suh for detroit is a beast!

The Jets are dominating an inferior team. We had to eek it out but at the end of the day a division win is a division win.

They're doing it because Sanchez is actually a good QB now and the rest of their team is incredibly talented.

But he's not a HOFer like Brady. I'll take a HOF QB with a decent team over a decent QB with an excellent team.

Tom Brady will be the great equalizer this season.

I hate to say it, but isn't Tom Brady one of the worst QBs in the league in the 4th quarter when it matters over the last 10 or so road games? I don't have the faith in him that I used to have. I figured after that pick to Bailey in the 05 playoffs it was a fluke, but he's sucked more often than he's been good in the playoffs since that AFC Divisional playoff game - 13 TDs, 10 INTs, and a QB rating of 73.33 in playoff games since the game at Denver (2006, 2007, and 2009). I'd love to hear people defend that...

It's been coming though, he's played well plus the line has been giving him big holes.
