No one is giving up a 3rd round pick for a running back who's out of contract in a few months and needing paid.

If i'm Breece Hall my hamstrings and back are going to be hurting for the rest of the season, why would you put your body on the line as RB with a limited carries shelf life for a team tanking?

Pats will have to overpay to get him.
I would do it for a 4th

Pats should offer a 4th.

Take it or leave it.

Jets should trade for competent coaching. Two firsts for Mike Tomlin in the offseason. Not even kidding. 9-8 would be a dream for them.
How about Hall for Mayo, straight up?

Red Sox sat on their ass at the deadline too. How'd that work out?

Seahawks made a very good trade fir Shaheed.
Playmaker for late round picks

Been in the league for four years and averages about 400 yards a year. Not sure he deserves the playmaker label...

Never said it was a given but maybe they get this one right. It's all QB dependent though.

The Jets got Sauce Gardner, Garrety Wilson, Jermaine Johnson and Breece Hall in the 2022 draft, never got out of dumpster fire mode.

If there is one team in the NFL that is a master of wasting talent acquisition, it is the Jete. No reason right now to expect that to change.

And the Boys will tell u having a top 5 O and dumpster of a D is no way to thrive either. Thus the trades they made in the last 24 hours.
With a record of 3-5-1 and still having to play the chiefs, eagles, vikings, lions and chargers and about zero chance to make the playoffs. Trading away the future for over priced players now on a team thats going nowhere.

If i was Garrett Wilson i would be wanting out too, why would i wanna stay around and waste my prime years on a completely gutted team.

Even if they hit on some picks they're years away now.

No team overestimates their chances better than the Cowboys.

Here is my answer.

Yep. Biggest sellers in the league just happened to be 2 division rivals and our HC's bitter ex.

Tough to buy big like that.

On the bright side, it's not like the unused assets go to waste--- the extra 6ths we have can be used to move up in day 2 of the draft, for example.

A third round pick? For a running back who already has 4 years of wear and tear including a major knee injury and will need to be paid? Any GM who makes that trade should be strapped to a rocket and fired into the sun. Pull a guy off any practice squad in the league and get 75% of the production Hall would give you and give up nothing.

If it would make Vrabel feel good, I suppose that he could offer a 4th. I doubt that the call would even be answered.

No matter how much first round talent the Jets have, they squander it. They'll be like kids in the candy store again on draft day replacing first round talent with new first round talent.
