So you're saying teams are going to continue to play 8+ men in the box half the time like they are now?
As great at Diggs has been. Teams don't respect anything vertical from us. Is exactly why they play up closer to the line of scrimmage.. if Williams could start making some deep completions it changes the way teams have to defend us.

I wouldn’t think anything of that.
I still think Williams can be a good player it’s just that he’s learning a tough offense for a Rook.
Williams is always open and wins off the line of scrimmage. He and Drake need to connect.. all it takes is a few deep completions a game for defenses to start respecting it.

I don’t want to trade Boutte, but he is a free agent next season right?
So I would trade Kyle Williams and a third for AJ Brown.
Rather trade pop and a 3rd.. Vrabel said he wants to get guys that were developed here to a second contract..

K Boutte is not going anywhere he hasn't reached his ceiling. KW and a Third or Pop and a Third should do it.
Boutte is a great contested catch WR.. not like Parker who was here.. pop and a 3rd.. I want to develop K. Williams.

Can pop become a deep threat. The line is giving some time to maye. Can pop breakout in 3 seconds . Just give him standard 4-5 routes so that maye knows where he will be .

Which is how some of us figured it was going to be anyway; though I had hoped for more from Kyle Williams...

I wonder how amenable Dawghouse would've been to re-negotiating i.e. reducing his contract in order to stay here; If he had been, then I would've kept him ahead of Weirdo Hollins.
Stinky feet Hollins is a Josh signing... k Williams like Henderson.. are talented guys that thier development is just taking longer than we initially thought and that's fine... sweet feet was a redshirt his rookie season.. fortunately we have some great vets like Diggs and Henry to move the ball and are reliable for Drake... the impressive thing about K. Williams is he wins of the line of scrimmage all the time. He and Drake need to develop a connection.

I was watching the QB School dude breakdown on all of Drake Maye's throws. Pop Douglas is lethal on his stems: he gets' separation on every catch. He was open quite a bit on other plays; Pop is getting McDaniels Offense.

Hollins knows his role. He's good in the slot...we don't need a lot of production from him there...just block and about one catch a game. Others can produce there more but he adds and important wrinkle for Josh there IMO. I don't want him on the outside though. Those snaps should go to Diggs, Boutte and Williams.

Yess he showed it last game.

Pop at the beginning based on his great camp was rewarded with starting. It took Josh to do some evaluation to find the right role for pop. Now he has one.

Maye and KW are not in sync yet: but they're close. I'm just glad KW is playing some: I hate it when Teams sit Rookies for a year. Imagine if BB had played Boutte more his Rookie year; he probably would have reached his ceiling by now.

I like his frame and presence on the field. Once Williams comes on.. he'll be more involved in the red area.

Zuma: I don't like the inordinate or excessive amount of snaps Tarzan Hollins is getting. I'm hoping Kyle Williams dips into most of them: KW can play on the boundaries and have moves to be lethal in the Slot.

Ok

Be interesting to see if he can or if that NO safety was just that bad lol He toasted that guy on the first td. Id like to see him do it to some other teams

Honestly dont love anyone floated to us as a trade target. Unless we get some line help or a safety. Any big splash is much more likely in the offseason.
We wouldn't want A.J. Brown on a AFC contender if we can get him.
