To be fair Sidney Jones had an achilles injury in college. Was considered mid 1st round talent before injury. Never got back fully healthy after other issues as well. Like Jaylon Smith, someone was going to take a shot on Jones in the 2nd or 3rd.

He has a cap hit of about 10M and has not practiced this year after a lisfranc surgery. Nobody will trade for him under those circumstances.

Anything to get rid of Izzo. Liability as a blocker and mostly useless as a receiver.

All you need to know is that someone as mediocre as LaCosse with an injured knee was playing over him last year.
