What separates Herbert from most QBs is his toughness. There is no other QB in the league more willing to hold the ball and take a hit until he finds a receiver. He's got a lot of guts, he's big, he's tough. I'm not comparing his style to Ben Roethlisberger, but he's tough like Ben.Disagree on Hebert. I thought he was a better quarterback than he is, and although I'm sure he is better than he showed last night he simply does not possess the fire or will to win that you need to win championships in the NFL. I could be mistaken, it could be that he was doing heroin on the bench between series, but the look on his face throughout the game, and the complete lack of energy he displayed was that of someone who had just gotten a pre frontal lobotomy. At no point did I see him interact with even one other player on the sideline, he just sat there staring blankly into space for the entire game. Or maybe, as Dan Kelley says, Hebert is the best quarterback in the NFL, and I'm just missing it,
He needs a lot of help with OC and a lot of help with OL. Only then will I judge him.
I could be all wrong about this and he could be a dunderhead who can't read defenses, but you can't judge him off last night.
When I watched him a few years ago, he reminded me of a young Steve Grogan, except he could throw accurately.
