Parker without a doubt. Watkins sucks. What would we rather have: Devante Parker's contract plus the price we paid to acquire it... or Sammy Watkins'?

They already have him in Stevenson. He is a 3 down back. I'd like the musical chairs at RB to end someday.I think they want a back who is more of a threat in the passing game.

He seems to like the losing way then, because outside of his Belichick years when he was doing things like shutting down a 33ppg offense to 3 points in the Super Bowl, he had an extended career of never making the playoffs with the Bills, followed by a year with the putrid Panthers. We'll see if the Gilmore curse extends to Indy.
I think they win the division. Not sold on TN right now. The window for teams leaning on a superstar running back is typically very low, and Ryan is better than Tannehill.Unless Ryan completely sh!ts the bed like Wentz did, they're in the POs, quite possibly as Division winners.
True, DW ToysCollins is a enigma too me.
Sometimes he looks like the best player on the field and other times he’s invisible.
Cousin, We could not set the edge which is a BB commandment.Speed was a big problem with the run defense last year. It wasn't so much that RBs were bouncing off guys and picking up 5-10 more yards 9although that happened at times). It was more that defenders weren't even in position to make the tackle in a lot of cases. Smaller and faster might be a bigger fix for the run defense than you might think. A lot of times we saw RBs pick up 10-15 yards or even 20-30 yards before they were even touched.
I agree. But think our interior DL is lacking. We have noone even close to Vita Vea.
Barmore was only a rookie. His rookie season compared to a lot of good to great DTs in the league are pretty comparable. He was far better than Wilfork was his rookie season. He probably will never be Vita good. But he has the potential to be a top DT in the league and very disruptive and a guy teams have to game plan for.

Wilfork had Keith Traylor in front of him as the starting NT.He was far better than Wilfork was his rookie season.
Barmore IS a DT. You're talking like the Pats still play a 3-4 defense as their base. They don't and haven't for some time.I agree with all that but I think Barmore is a DE, and not a DT, on the DL. We need a DT to take on the opposing center AND guard to plug the middle. Pass rushing DE, like Barmore, is secondary because we have Barmore who worked out very well and was worth the tradeup. This year it is DT with guys like Davis and Jones, not Wyatt who is a Barmore clone. Wyatt early plus a DT later in R3 or R4 is OK too, if there is a solid DT that late. We have Godchaux and Guy who are serviceable if we had a big DT.

The Pats use a 2/2/2 system, typically. They have 2 DTs, 2 EDGE players and 2 LBs plus 5 DBs. It's a variation of the 4-3 OVER alignment where one DT (NT) is lined up over the Center and the other DT (UT) is lined up on the outside shoulder of one of the guards.
Barmore is more suited to line up over one of the guards than over the Center. The Position is often referred to as the Under-Tackle. The Pats DO need a NT. Someone like Davis, Jones, or Marquan McCall from the draft or Akiem Hicks in free agency.
It’s tough to get a definitive answer, but from what I could find, Pats actually do run a variation of the 3-4. In fact, each week their defense lineups are introduced as a 3-4.Thanks for your correction and instruction. I can always depend on you to invent non-existent issues, "you're talking like", so that you can then inform and teach everyone on the board. I do not know what we would do without having an highly intelligent instructor like you posting here.
His grandpa lives in New England.
He played 17 games last season, had 6 sacks, 7 tackles for a loss, was third on the team in QB Hits and Tampa gave up the third fewest rushing yards and 5rh fewest rushing TD’s in the NFL… age hasn’t effected him in the least. He's basically a grandpa himself at this stage of his career...
